Abstract
The procedural application of the Subcontractors' Charges Act 1974 - 1979 has been significantly altered by the recent decision of the Court of Appeal. In doing so the Court has extended the time period within which a subcontractor may enforce claims against employers and contractors. Section 12(3)(b) provides directions on the procedural aspects of the joinder.
